Each month, we like to highlight one of our excellent JSG employees who is doing great things. This August, we would like to shine the spotlight on Dina Romero!
Dina has been with JSG for nearly 10 years (her work-iversary is this November)! She has been a valuable member of the California team ever since she started. Dina just renewed her ASA (American Staffing Association) Dual Certification as Technical Services Certified (TSC) and Certified Staffing Professional (CSP) – These required significant study and completing a two hour written examination. The renewal requires a number of continuing education credits each year.
Dina first achieved her certifications in 2016 while here at JSG. She has followed up the continuing Education process to keep her certifications current. Dina’s supervisor, Jim, would like to give her a round of applause for her perseverance in maintaining her ASA certifications, and to her ongoing commitment to the staffing industry and the pursuit of knowledge!
Not only is Dina a hard worker, but she is also a mother of two, having her second child earlier this year! She was born in Egypt and moved to the U.S. when she was a young child and has lived in New York, Indiana, and California. She was originally drawn to CA because of a college scholarship through Disney! Throughout college, she worked many different jobs at Disneyland in Anaheim, California. This dedication and experience is what makes Dina such a wonderful person to work with.
