How does finding a job through JSG work?

The first step in finding a job through JSG is to search our career portal! When you find a position you’re interested in, you can easily apply directly our site. Once JSG receives your application, a well-trained and highly qualified recruiter will reach out to you if you’re a fit for the position. If the specific position you applied for isn’t a good fit, rest assured knowing your resume is now part of our database and can be considered for a future, better-suited, position.

What types of jobs are available through JSG?

JSG offers three different major types of flexible career opportunities. 

  • Contract/Project Opportunities: Contract assignments are for a fixed amount of time. In some cases, these positions will have a definite date of conclusion.
  • Contract-to-Hire (Contract-to-Perm): Many staffing positions have the potential to be contract-to-hire whether they are advertised as such or not. This is a trial position to gauge your ability to work for the company on a regular full-time basis, as well as your opportunity to determine whether or not the position fills your needs.
  • Permanent (Direct Hire): For permanent positions, the staffing agency acts as a recruiting firm to screen and facilitate the hiring process for candidates in full-time positions, then employees are hired directly by the employer.
Is there a fee for job seekers to use JSG’s services?

No! There is no cost to job seekers for our services, and utilizing them will not negatively impact your salary potential. To the contrary, JSG advocates for higher wages for candidates.

Does JSG offer benefits for contracted employees?

JSG provides many benefit options that can be customized to your individual requirements. Some benefits may include, but are not limited to, 401(K), health/life insurance, vision, dental, weekly payroll, direct deposit, and more.

I already work with JSG, where can I find my W2?

Your W-2 can be viewed in your GreenShades portal. You can download a PDF version to print and have on file. When signing up for GreenShades, it is important that you use your PERSONAL email, rather than your company email. You may want to access paystubs or tax forms after your time with a company, and using your personal email ensures continued access. Trying to access a W-2 that is more than two years old? How do I obtain an employment verification?
      • Verifiers who are first time users with CCC Verify will need to set up an account as a verifier and provide the required information when prompted. It only takes a few seconds for a verifier to set up an account.
        • Note: The verifier must have your authorization and your social security number to access your income information. Your wage data can only be accessed by a person or organization that has your full social security number, your employee authorization for accessing income information, and has been credentialed and authenticated by CCC Verify.  
      • Your report will be displayed instantly. You will be allowed to download a copy for your records.

Where can I view my paystubs?

Your paystubs can be viewed in your GreenShades portal. You can view the breakdown online or download a PDF version to print and have on file. When signing up for GreenShades, it is important that you use your PERSONAL email, rather than your company email. You may want to access paystubs or tax forms after your time with a company, and using your personal email ensures continued access.

Some of my contact/tax information changed. Who do I contact to have it changed in the system?

For all questions regarding tax forms, address changes, status changes, etc., you should contact your recruiter. They will provide you will the necessary forms to have your information changed with our HR and Accounting departments. If you are unsure of who your recruiter is, reach out to your manager or supervisor—they’ll be able to get you in touch with the JSG contact for your need.

Where can I get information about my benefits (401k, insurance, perks, etc.)?
You don’t have an office near me, can you still help me?

How does JSG conduct pre-employment screenings?

Our pre-employment screenings are all client-based. Each vary, but can consist of a reference check, drug test, criminal background check, education verification, and/or driving history.
