Ask These Questions At Your Next Job Interview

Ask these questions at your next job interview to leave a lasting impression

There seems to be a lot of pressure on the end of an interview when the interviewer asks “So, do you have any questions for us?” Even job interview experts have frozen and replied with a meek “Nope, I think you’ve answered them all!” But job seekers are thinking about this all wrong. This isn’t a test that you need to get right or wrong, it’s an opportunity to learn more about the company, their employees, and what it would actually be like to work there. After all, an interview is a two-way street and you must assess that this will be as good of a fit for you as it is for them. Here is a list of questions that you can have on hand to ask at the end of your meeting.

  1. What do you love most about working at ABC Company?
  2. What is the company culture like?
  3. I saw on the website that ABC Company values community service. Which volunteer programs are employees involved in?
  4. What are the biggest challenges that someone in this position would face?
  5. What is the next step in the hiring process?

The best questions are relevant to the company, the position, and even this specific interview. A discussion during the interview might spark a question – make sure to write it down to revisit during this stage. And last but certainly not least, ask genuine questions that will assist you in making your best career possible.

Now that you’ve got your questions queued up, are you still feeling unprepared? Check out our complete list of how to prepare for your interview and draft your answers to the typical questions you might be asked.
