Each month, we like to highlight one of our employees that is going above and beyond. We look to recognize individuals who have demonstrated exceptional performance, teamwork, innovation, and/or dedication to our company’s values and goals. For the month of October, we recognize the thrice nominated Kailey Brunton, Billing and MSP Operations Manager!
One nominator says the following: Kailey is the most approachable person I know. She gets her hands dirty with her team and is in the “trenches” with us. She is always thinking and coming up with ways to improve processes not only for her team but other teams as well. She always asks her team for input and values our opinions. She has recently come up with a process that has led to her team getting payroll done earlier, which trickles down to other departments getting done sooner.
Her second nominator truly feels people who are in management positions often don’t receive the kudos they deserve, as they are always lifting up those around them. Kailey is a valued member of the Shared Services group, and is a great example of a leader—you can see that in how much her team cares for her. Kailey is also one of the most self-driven, curious-minded individuals that we have. She is constantly taking it upon herself to try and improve processes, look at things from different vantage points, and works to develop creative solutions to problems. She is a great teacher, and is always willing to lend a hand whether that be to other Shared Services members, clients, or our branch personnel.
A third voice adds: Kailey is always going the extra mile to make sure all teams, not just her own, have what they need to do our jobs more effectively.
Outside of work, Kailey stays very busy! She has read/listened to 50 books so far this year (and can somehow juggle putting together complicated Excel formulas while still following the plot)! She also loves a good crime podcast, she bakes her own bread, and she loves the Chicago Cubs. Later this month, her daughter, Briar, will be turning ONE!
