The responsible way we do business

The successful business operation and reputation of JSG is built upon the principles of fair dealing and ethical conduct of our employees.  Our reputation for integrity and excellence requires careful observance of all applicable laws and regulations, as well as a scrupulous regard for the highest standards of conduct and personal integrity.

JSG’s intent is to comply with all applicable laws and regulations and expects its directors, officers, and employees to conduct business in accordance with the letter, spirit, and intent of all relevant laws and to refrain from any illegal, dishonest, or unethical conduct.

Employees owe a duty to the Company, its customers, and all other stakeholders to act in a way that will merit the continued trust and confidence of the public.

In discharging their responsibilities, each Employee has a duty to act in good faith, in a manner that they believe to be in the best interests of the Company, its customers, and all other stakeholders and with such care as an ordinary prudent person in a like position would act under similar circumstances. These duties include, but are not limited to: the duty to make a reasonable inquiry where the circumstances require such inquiry; the duty to avoid and disclose any activities which could create, or appear to create, a conflict with the interests of the Company; the duty not to exploit one’s positions with JSG in doing severe damage to the Company and its reputation; and the duty to act with integrity, fidelity, and high standards of conduct.

The use of good judgment, based on high ethical principles, will guide behavior with respect to lines of acceptable conduct. If a situation arises where it is difficult to determine the proper course of action, we encourage employees to discuss the matter openly with their immediate supervisor and/or the Human Resources Manager for advice and consultation.

Compliance with this policy of business ethics and conduct is the responsibility of every JSG employee.
