JSG is seeking a Senior System Engineer to help support our IT delivery team. This is a critical role for JSG and will support our US and Canadian operation. The Senior System Engineer will report into our Vice President of IT and will be located in our HQ in Westmont, IL. This position will be hybrid after training! (3 days in office, 2 days remote)

Objectives and Responsibilities:

  • Directly Work with VP of IT on all IT initiatives
  • Manage and maintain existing systems and IT infrastructure
  • Install, configure, and maintain application software, operating systems, and system management tools
  • Develop and install networking and computing infrastructures
  • Evaluate systems, provide technical direction to increase productivity, and ensure availability of systems and infrastructure
  • Work with VP of IT on cybersecurity and information security initiatives

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Proven working experience in a Senior level IT position or relevant experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of technical management, information security, cybersecurity, cloud security (o365 & Azure), information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems
  • Hands-on experience with networks, network administration and network installation
  • 7+ years of experience in IT systems 
  • Expertise in implementing, configuring, and testing IT solutions.
  • Strong creative and analytical thinking

Preferred skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in information technology or computer science
  • Professional certifications
